Via Mark Thoma, the blog Language Log has an interesting post connecting an understanding of the word “autistic” as meaning “excessively rational” with the “post-autistic” critique of neo-classical economics. There’s also a bried discussion of neuroeconomic. All in all, interesting read, I think.
